CYTO 2023: CYTO Innovation
PART 1: THE CYTO 2023 TECHNOLOGY SHOWCASE The three finalists will present at the meeting. A winner will be selected by a panel of expert judges, chosen for their expertise in not only the scientific aspects of cytometry but also in the business techniques needed to manage these types of small companies – whether they are designing devices, reagents, software, standards, novel lab methodology or anything else that members of the community will find useful.
Three Finalists: Spectradyne Particle Analysis - Jean-Luc Fraikin - CEO ThinkCyte - Janette Phi, MBA - Chief Business Officer LASE Innovation Inc. - Sheldon J.J. Kwok, CEO
PART 2: PANEL OF EXPERTS SURPRISES ASSOCIATED WITH GROWING SMALL CYTOMETRY RELATED BUSINESS Moderated by David Novo-Lake, this panel will share some of the unique challenges specific to growing a small cytometry-related business. SRL leaders may be surprised at how many of the issues raised are immediately relevant to their everyday activities.
PART 3: POTENTIAL INNOVATIONS (CYTO 2023 EXPERIMENT) 2 minute stand-up pitches (NO SLIDES) We encourage you to share your ideas for innovations and inventions with the cytometric ecosystem, either through lab hacks or commercialization. Let us know (email to bmow@scigro.com) if you would like to submit a 1-page abstract of current or potential future work to be presented informally in 2 minutes following the panel discussion to get some possible audience feedback during CYTO 2023.
